Description:

Although film couldn’t be classified as an experimental work, there was a lot of experiment around it. Film “3” dream sequences are entirely based on psychoanalytical studies by Sigmund Freud and Carl G. Jung, as well as controversial writer‘s Carlos Castaneda‘s philosophy.  Three of these dreams had different theories and explanation of dreams and work of unconscious, although they were based on the same principal – dreams are the work of unconscious. Every dream is filled with symbolism closely enough related to its topic.

Such an anxiety and evocative dreaming is a lot due to a shifts of emotions. Film “3” was influenced by works of Andrey Tarkovskiy and David Lynch in complex with Freud’s dream interpretation theories and in one word could be put as Evocative.
